I think I goofed in posing the quest. The form name defaults to 'form1' as opposed to the caption name. But anyway, a form I have calls another form and so on. Is it good to keep them all open? or should I close them as another gets the focus? When I get to the 4th form, it doesn't seem activated for some reason. :(

>Well, I'd say it depends on what you need < shrug >. Though your description has me a bit confused. You launch the same form (DO FORM) several times? Yes, each instance will show up in the Window Menu option. Otherwise, if they're all different then the caption of the form (in 5.0, name property in 3.0) will show up on the menu.

>>when you have a main form that launches another which launches another and even a fourth, are you supposed to release them along the way. This one main form I have keeps showing up in the {window} menu with a check mark, 5 times or more. :(
