I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but are you saying that you have an installed application done in VFP5, and you want to upgrade them to VFP6? If so, and the current installation installs both programs and data, you probably want to create an installation tree for setup that excludes the data, and then just install the new version into the same directory that the old version is in. The setup program will write the proper system files for VFP6.

P.S.: 'dei miei' or 'delle mie' (I don't know if 'user' is masculine or feminine) translates as 'of my': the definite article drops out in English. Same applies for 'on the your'....
