Never underestimate the ability of some developers to have rabid opinions on any given subject ;-) Years ago I worked with two of them. There were two main IBM mainframe operating systems, which hosted our commercial software. One was a fan of one and one was a fan of the other. They would get into spirited debates that would go on and on, often becoming angry. You half expected the vats of boiling oil to come out.
