Absolutely. It's about time business had a voice in how this country is run.
Actually, this was not my point at all. It is difficult to believe how obtuse you can be when you want to be. My point is that we are in a grave ecconomic situation with unemplyment really closer to 20% than 9.1% if you count all the people who have given up looking for jobs and those that are underemployed. We need someone in the White House who understands something about running a business, creating jobs and making a payroll,
Based on the August numbers - zero new jobs (that is zero, nada, bupkis) it is clear that Obama and his staff have no clue about how to create jobs and improve the economy. All they know how to do is tax and spend and even though his first 2 stimuli were dismal failures, he wanrt to try it yet again.
You know what the definition of insanity is? Trying the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
The best way to stimulate the economy is for government to get out of the way. Less regulation - not more. If businesses are going to hire, they need some certainty so that they can plan for the future.
