Too bad McCain jumped off the straight-talk express and then chose Palin as his running mate.

I remember McCain's first run for the primary when he lost to W. He was refreshingly straight and didn't give those bullshit politician answers. In his second go-around he abandoned that tactic and started giving those talk a lot, say nothing answers. I was very, very disappointed.... and then he chose Palin as his running mate and became unelectable.
