I understand your favor for a businessperson. But what sort of businessperson?
How about someone like Meg Whitman (EBAY) or Carly Fiorina (Hewlett-Packard) or Herman Cain if you must have a name from big business.
Big Business has demonstrated that it will happily export more jobs to shave a few more pennies for dividend.
Unless, of course, like the case of Gibson Guitar Corp (large contributors to the repbulican party), you are raided and told that you should move your operation off shore to avoid future prosecution. Way to create jobs - Obama!
We are of course referring to the same small business being squeezed by the Walmarts of every industry who are the only ones able to afford power under your recipe.
Since I am a small business owner mysrlf, I can tell you that the reason we are being squeezed out is the ever growing mountain of government regulation and red tape as well as Barack Hussein Obama's attempts to raise taxes on anyone making over $200,000 per year (use small business owners). Check the facts and you will see that I am right.
IMHO we need to focus on trying to fix the problem, not the blame.
I agree.
For example, spending may be abhorrent but if you check the stats again you'll see that givernment spending has been a standard mechanism to drive employment and inject enthusiasm into a struggling economy. If it isn't working,
I have checked the stats and they disagree with your statement. Stimulus #1 did not create one single job. All it did was to drive us deeper into debt. FDR's repeated sprnding did not get us out of the depression. It took World War II to do that.
Trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
