Michel, not that I've ever copied anybody but perhaps you could add a new section to the user instructions for the site:
The "Ask nicely" optionThis option is available to all UT members. To use it:
1) Click the envelope beside the other party's name.
2) Type "Hello, I'd be grateful if you'd stop copying me on your Universal Thread responses, thanks very much!"
3) Press Send.
