The best thing about Thatcher was that she left the Tories unelectable for a decade.
She was also largely responsible for the destruction of UK manufacturing and making the UK a centre for casino banking.
I look forward to the day the Thatcher era is re examined and defined for what it was . An economic disaster. The wholesale destruction of industry with no clear plan about what was to replace it.
