Hi,
In conjunction with what Tore said, I have a couple of questions:-
1. What is the backup software.
2. Is the backup software compatible with WIN2008, as 2008 didn't exist 10 years ago.
3. Some backup softwares do a virus scan in conjuction with the backup, if so what is the scanner.
4. What virus scanner is being used. Is the app data directory excluded from the realtime scan.
5. Is Oplocking disabled.
6. Is disk write caching disabled.

>Has anybody seen this happening, and what other reasons could there be?
