You are not alone in that sentiment. It isn't just the Tea Party. Americans as a whole are pretty disgusted with our elected officials. Obama's approval rating has sunk to its lowest level yet. An even newer opinion poll says approval of Congress has matched an historic low.

(I don't quite get the numbers, though. The article says approval of Democrats in Congress is 28%, of Republicans 19%, and of Congress overall 12%???). (Does that indicate the reverse of synergy?).
