Welsh - none really local. One of the few welsh ones that I like is Otley in Pontypridd.
On the English side of the border there are several within a few miles:
In Hereford : Wye Valley (not so small any more) and Spinning Dog (not to my taste I'm afraid)
Six Bells and Seven Tuns breweries in Bishops Castle are both truly small and good.
Ludlow Brewing gets down here.
Couple of smaller ones (e.g. Golden Valley) can be a bit erratic....
