From the command window you need to do SET RESOURCE TO D:\FoxUser.dbf. The way you're doing it assigns a string value to the variable "Resource"

>I am attempting (without success) to do a RESOURCE='D:\FoxUser.dbf' from the VFP command window. In Windows 7, the Properties dialog shows that I have Modify, Read & execute, List folder contents, Read, Write permissions for the D: drive (but not Full control or Special permissions).
