Oddly enough, that was my first impression as well. Windows 8 strikes me as something that might be nice for tablets and smartphones but not something that seems well suited to a large scale business app. We have seen the "one size fits all" promise before. As was said on the Bullwinkle cartoon show, "Again? That trick never works!" ;-)
