>I suspect we will never agree about writers. You really read those two gloomsters
in high schoolfor pleasure? Heck, you may as well throw in the Marquis de Sade and hit the trifecta ;-) Influence, certainly. But for pleasure? Really?

>There is one Nietzsche quotation I really like, and I'm sure you can guess which one. Still, not the same thing as reading him for pleasure.
One of my favourite quotes (not only from Nietzsche but in general) is "I am Zarathustra the godless, who says “Who is more godless than I, that I may rejoice in his teaching?" It has been my favorite since high school, and I also read it for pleasure among others like Bertrand Russel, Kafka, Borges, and yes... The Marquis! Sadly, everything is a blur now, except Borges that I keep reading it from time to time
"The five senses obstruct or deform the apprehension of reality."
Jorge L. Borges?
"Premature optimization is the root of all evil in programming."
Donald Knuth, repeating C. A. R. Hoare
"To die for a religion is easier than to live it absolutely"
Jorge L. Borges
