I agree. But Microsoft is not in the business to please developers. It's in the business of selling software, primarily Windows and Office. There is no doubt the iPad has eaten into Windows market. Microsoft has to have something in the tablet space. Rather than do a "us too" like we see from the Andriod tablet market, I give MSFT high marks for trying something different.
