A nice new "gadget" has dropped on my hands. It's a "Customer information terminal".

Its manual says "Application must ping..." and poll.

How easy it sounds!

Apparently I have to receive and send data to an IP Address.

I've never done something like that. Can anyone tell me where I have to search how to do this?
