I had an interesting conversation with Jay Schmetzer after a presentation he did on LightSwitch in Milwaukee this past spring. He hadn't said it in these words during his presentation but the picture I got was that an IT type person (power user) could develop some useful apps with LightSwitch, given some assistance by a real developer. We have all heard, many times, that such and such a tool would allow non-professional-programmers to develop real business apps. Yeah, sure. The last time that was true may have been, well, dBASE. Jay said yes, that's about right -- you're probably going to need both of them involved.
