You might want to look at Microsoft's ADSI SDK, which provides a set of automation objects that can access directory services cross platform in a straightforward fashion. I've used it in Wscript, and with VFP 6.0 through NEWOBJECT(); I couldn't get the syntax right under VFP 5.0 using either CREATEOBJ() or GETOBJECT() to instantiate ADs objects. You might try http://cwashington.netreach.net/home.htm as a reference point, as well as MSDN Online, or the MSDN docs if you have a subscription. Best part is the price is right...
