>SQL Server 2008 does have Standard Edition. If you're doing an upgrade, then, IMHO, it should be to the latest version, which is SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1.

So, if they have Standard, they should remain with Standard. As for me, the help doesn't show SP1. It shows SQL Server 2008 R2. On yours, does it indicate SP1 or that is indicated somewhere else?
