I have search the web for possible solutions but found nothing legal or even worked. Now, this last weekend my machine at home is doing the same. I know for a fact that my home machine is a legal copy of WIndows 7, for I bought when got the machine earlier this year. Has anyone encourtered this and found a solution short of reinstalling the OS and applications?
>>>There is also the remote possiblity that the license you're using just happens to be one that got pirated -- not to say that it's someone in your company, but it may be one that someone may have discovered through some means (it is my understanding that there is some sort of algorithm that you can use to determine if particular stream of characters constitutes a valid pattern for activation code). I do recall that many of the pirated copies of XP often used corporate license (corporate license being particularly attractive as one key could activate many instances) -- eventually many of these were invalidated.

>Wouldn't hurt to ask. Of course, if it was something to do with serial number being invalidated, it would be likely that more than just cmputers using the corporate license would be affected.

I will first and try to resolve the problem on my home computer. If it works, then I will contact the IT Admin people and have them assist in resolving the work computer. For it is thiers' anyway.
