I have developed a system for a client in 3.0 and finished it before they're hardware has been approved which could take up to a year. So I am recreating the system in 2.6 and they will be using 3.0 for the reports (since they all use views and are not has hardware dependant). I would like to keep one set of data. Can I access the 3.0 tables (which are contained in a DBC, not free tables) within 2.6 using ODBC or something else I'm not thinking of or do I need to copy all the 2.6 data into the 3.0 tables when the user goes to run reports (therefore, keeping two sets of data).
