It was the first weekend of college football. Perenial national cellar dweller Utah State was at defending national champion Auburn. No one gave the Aggies any chance, especially with true Freshman Chuckie Keeton at quarterback. By half time, the Aggies, Utah State, and Chuckie Keeton were trending INTERNATIONALLY on Twitter because the Aggies were beating Auburn in every category. In the end, an onside kick recovery won it for Auburn, but the Aggies won in every other statistic. The Aggies barely missed upsetting the defending national champion. Let's face it, you win by luck when you hold the ball 15 minutes less per game than your opponent.

But, it isn't just Chuckie Keeton. Runningback Robert Turbin is one of the nation's best and probably the best RB in the state of Utah, even better than those at University of Utah, who sits in the Pac12, one of the powerhouse BCS conferences.

Last weekend, the Aggies lost by one point in double overtime. Utah State went for a two point conversion and failed, giving the victory to Colorado State.

Nationally, Utah State ranks 5th in rushing, 98th in passing, but 16th overall. On defense against the rush, the Aggies are 15th and 28th in pass defense, and ranked 12th overall. They are less one touchdown away from being 3-0 instead of 1-2. In three games, the Aggies have lost by a combined 7 points. Their lone victory was a 54-17 win over in-state rival Weber State.

You'll have your chance to see them in action tonight at 8:00 Eastern time on ESPN as they invade Cougar Stadium to take on in-state rival BYU. So turn on the game and cheer for the Aggies!
