I think I found the problem. The user changed the color settings in the control panel and didn't realize the impact this would have on the application.

--Just setting _SCREEN may work, but I try to cover all possibilities.
It appears that setting _SCREEN.Themes to .F. is sufficient, because I changed the Form.Themes to .F. and there was no difference between this form and other forms whose .Themes setting I had not changed. The problem seems to be entirely caused by changing the settings in the control panel.

--There are lots of issues introduced by Vista and carried over to Win7.
Oh? I didn't know about these, other than Themes. Are these documented or recorded anywhere? Is there a white paper or anything similar? If so, where can I find the white paper or documentation?
