hahahaha. Well for sure would not want to be the one(s) to make such a choice. I think our leaders at the time did what they thought would save the most American lives and end the war and figured it was worth it. I suspect if I was alive and an adult in 1945 my viewpoints at the time would probably be different - I'm sure it seemed like a damn good idea at the time.
