Yes, but if it weren't for European/British signing strange treaties and provoking each other, there would have been no World Wars in the first place. Can't blame the US for that- both times the American people tried to stay out of it. Personally I blame "Perfidious Albion" as the French used to call you and as Cheney recently called you.

;-) Sorry, couldn't resist. Easy enough to find something to pick at in every direction. For example, while it's popular to attribute WWII to the Germans, in fact that war was declared by - whom? Sure enough, you guessed it. Though if you consider time zone differences, the answer may be more startling than you think. ;-)
