Absolutely.
Though the moment was missed when the Germans went for Czechoslovalkia. The Germans weren't ready for war used Czech industry to help re-arm.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
There was some interesting discussion in the papers at the weekend about what would have happened if the Germans had not declared war on the US after Pearl Harbour. Roosevelt would have had a hard job selling the Europe first approach.
