>>>I am starting to shop for a new notebook computer to replace Win XP Pro. Most of the work I do is with VFP9 which, I know, works on Windows 7 64bit. And 64-bit is my first choice. But just in case, would anybody suggest to go with 32-bit instead?

:)

Well, there may be scenarios when you want to save data from SQL Server into DBF. If, for some reason, you can not do it from VFP directly, then doing it from SQL Server is a bit problematic.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
