I am looking at 15" notebook (17" is a bit too large to carry). I am looking at Dell (Latitude) and Toshiba. But after I add all the memory and larger drive and other options I see the price of about $1,500.

>What type of notebook are you planning to buy? I'm also starting to look, which brands/models are recommended? I'm thinking 15 or 17 inches screen to begin with and below 1,000.00.

>>I am starting to shop for a new notebook computer to replace Win XP Pro. Most of the work I do is with VFP9 which, I know, works on Windows 7 64bit. And 64-bit is my first choice. But just in case, would anybody suggest to go with 32-bit instead?
