Does it mean I have to download and install SP1 manually?

Also, I am about to start a simple Web application. I'm planning to do it using ASP.NET MVC and I started from the ASP.NET MVC website which automatically brings me to Pluralsight OnDemand training showing how to start. The very first video starts with installing Web Developer. However, if I have VS 2010 already, I assume I don't need to install it and can proceed with installing SP1.

Can you please clarify and also tell me, if I will be making a right move in starting with ASP.NET MVC?
