>Reading the "Access best" and related paranoia I can't help but wonder how much truth could there be in the fact that most people in the Fox community are "of a certain age" implying that, like myself, saw dBase II under CP/M as a blessed deliverance from BASIC. We lived thru the golden age of "Xbase" and undertandingly do not want to throw away our expertise. Like many of you I also work in VB/Access and to me it's a "no contest" with VFP but, I would be very interested to hear the opinion of a young programmer that might have started with another 4GL, say Powerbuilder, SQL Windows or the like and is now working with VFP.
I have never seen dbaseII and similer old staff. Actually I didn't work much with old-style FoxBase PRG code. But I really liked FPW2.x and moreover now I do both VB and VFP and I really feel that VFP is better DEVELOPMENT tool. Also I am not old yet.
