MS just ruined my day :(

I love grids for lookup routines with 4 - SQL type. I have one that looks up inventory...it has about 2 dozen controls a user can set...each fires off a method that builds a ton of little strings and then:

THISFORM.grd.recordsource = m.tsql1 + m.tsql2 + m.tsqlx + m.twhere + m.torder + m.tinto

In some cases this results in a recordsource with a "value" of 600 + characters.

That was in 5.0 anyway. I've been fighthing with a 6.0 lookup grid...dad gum thing wouldn't work and couldn't figure out why. Until I checked the recordsource...it now only hold 255 characters.

This sucks! But I figured some of y'all might wanna' know about this UN-improvement...
