He won't leave! LOL. This really is it. But I can't leave without posting this gem from Bruce's young years. The thing that amazed me most from the start was not necessarily the songs he wrote or the records he sold. It was his sense of self assurance, exemplified by having guys like Clarence Clemons and Miami Steve Van Zandt work for him in his early 20s. (Sopranos fans may recognize the guitarist in the red suit as Silvio Dante). The other thing that comes through here is his magnetism as a live act. Night after night he would give it his all for four hours. Bruce was not ever going to let you down, no matter where he was playing. Asked once in an interview if he put a little extra juice into the performance when he played Madison Square Garden or some other glamour spot he said, no, I know the guy everywhere I go worked just as hard for the money. And he proved it every night. Here is your nightcap from the archives. Sad in a way to watch Clarence in his element but this is life affirming. Trust me ;-)
