For appointment book purposes, we have been using a VSFlexgrid control, and we have encountered a problem when there a lot of appointments on a given day (i.e. a ton of cell rendering). When such a day is active, the scrolling and general updating of the grid is extremely delayed and slow.
The key thing is that this is only happening on Windows 7 and Server 2008. On XP, the grid works flawlessly and the scrolling/updating is fairly instantaneous. On 7, I've tried using a non-Aero basic theme, and in performance settings I selected to adjust for best performance. Neither of those changes had any effect.
Does anyone have ideas on what other settings to look at to try and decipher why this is happening?
Thanks.
