It's a great movie script, but so is Alice in Wonderland. Show me where your success happened in contemporary real life. The Aussie success is happening right now in real life.

Even if you consider its 2.6T trust fund to be real (and you've said you don't), SS is predicted to run out of $ by 2037 ... actually now it's another year closer at 2036 and closing... compared to the Aussie experience which, if matched in the US, would build a real $ asset into the $100Ts in the same time frame. That would leave your generation remembered as the most generously spirited Americans yet, and would turn all today's measly trillion dollar liabilities into chump change. As I keep asking, apart from those who insist that it's an infringement of their right to send their country broke, where is the victim?
