Bennett Gershman (Pace law professor) wrote a good article about the NY ticket fixing mess & makes a very good point... It Isn't "professional courtesy," it's racketeering !!!

I find it amazing that with 21 indictments charging in over 1,600 counts a massive conspiracy to fix traffic tickets (costing $2 million in lost revenue - plus whatever it's costing to investigate and prosecute these thieves) that you still end up with 100's of cops showing up screaming "Down with the DA," barring the media from getting near the courtroom, and beating news photographers. Who are these thugs? I say charge RICO act on all of them & make them cough up the $2million bucks! How can these other cops stand behind these guys? Are they just worried they're next?
