What version are you using? Are you getting your updates via Thor?

The newest version has a new dropdown where you can choose the "Scope" of the search. In that new control, it maintains a list of your most recent search paths / projects. Before you start a search, be sure the Scope dropdown is pointing to the desired place.

It currently remembers the last path/projcets, so it may no longer automatically connect the Active Project. I will have to studt this further.

It is possible that this new control has caused a conflit with your desire to have it search the "Active Project" and remeber to do this every time. You can always point it to the "Active Project" by clicking on the Advanced tab and select the appropriate Scope page there. However, it may no longer remember to do this "Active Project" Scope every time. I'll need to look into the issue.


Lastly, let me make sure that you know you can pass a path or project to GoFish like this:

Do GoFish4.app with "c:\somewhere\somewhere" 

(same thing works with a passing a Project name with .ojx extersion)
