>>Yep - which interestingly points out that Google Maps for Android now supports downloading maps for offline use so it gives them "One less reason for developing an Android version of MGMaps..." hahaha. Anyway it's a neat little tool but it doesn't fit my needs as I want to see where my friends/family are and them to see where I'm at.

You mean google maps in the browser on a WP7 device? I did try that a while back but it didn't do what I needed - however I know that now the skyfire browser is avail so it might work with that - however I'm betting it won't work because it's not going to get my GPS location.

One thing I've said over-and-over is how nice the UI is for WP7 - just take a look here http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile/top-40-best-windows-phone-7-apps-must-have-marketplace/ ..see how consistent and nice all the screenshots look? ...and of course that googlevoice app is 3rd party since google ain't doing anything useful for WP7...ha ... but it just goes to show you that WP7 has some nice features.
