Because I can roll out WP7 apps faster than the others. Anecdote alert: *most* of the mobile devs I talk to find the same thing. I posted a link in another post of a "report card" done by an acquaintance of mine that rates his experiences working with all 3 platforms. The WP7 reviews were surprisingly good, seeing as that he's not an MS fanboy.

My target is apps missing from WP7 that are already on the other platforms. I already have plenty of .NET and some Silverlight experience, and most of that transfers to WP7 development.

You implied that developing for WP7 is folly because it doesn't have the market share that other big platforms do. Tell that to the $$ in my pocket.
