That wasn't the article I read. Be that as it may, how does what I posted butcher their statement? They said they were raising rates from $1 a day to $1.20 a day due to increased debit card fees. Did you read it differently?

I'll cut you some slack on the corporate malfeasance point, since there are far more guilty parties than RedBox. Like the banks and investment banks, for instance. It is truly a triumph of spin to paint those who are protesting against them as the problem. The incomparable Barry Blitt of The New Yorker nailed it again in his cover drawing last week -- bankers looking like the Monopoly player piece strutting around saying things like "No problem here" and "Keep things precisely as they are."
