There is NOTHING in that sentence that imply my 'low regard for human race'.

So I will try to explain it little bit in context of my post;
That part of sentence refers to modern Consumer Society/Economics. Both ordinary peoples and governments are pushed one way or another to spend beyond their means, which leads us to massive world wide indebtedness.
Debts means we ALL pay interests (and interests on top of those interests) one way or another from generation to generation.
Etc.

Now it is your turn to try and explain what I could not understand the first (nor the second) time.
What is it in that sentence that implies what You claim it implies ??
(and is so obvious)
