Hello Derek,

I don't think you can stop a programmer with any knowledge of computers from copying your code. There are Windows functions that monitor the file system, so maybe you use those to at least know the code has been copied.

Here is an article I just googled. It says your best bet is to have a contract with the developer and be willing to take them to court if they violate it. Things may be different in HK, I don't know.

Try googling "windows file copy monitoring". Some of them look promising (again in the category of knowing someone did it, not stopping them from doing it). I have no experience with any of them.
