Hi,
I wanted to compact my PST file (on XP computer, Office 2003), followed all the correct steps (File -> Data Management -> Personal Folders -> Settings -> Compact Now). But the message "Compacting" is only displayed for 2-3 seconds. Then I check the size of the PST file and it is the same. I can't imagine that my PST does not have "space" that cannot be recovered (I have been using this outlook for almost 10 years). Am I missing something? TIA.
