When I type PATH in the command prompt I see a huge, long string of what is probably a default PATH in my PC. So I need to add this folder (in C: drive) to my "global/default" path so that no matter what directory/folder I am in I can call these programs. How do you do it?
>TIA.

Right click on your My computer Icon.

Click Properties.

Click on Advanced System Settings (on panel on left side).

Click on the button toward bottom - Environment Variables.

You can set the path variable for your user account or the system here.
