I'd add my support that MS employment should not disqualify. Things change, and not all contributions that may have coincided more or less with employment at MS can be regarded as standard expectations of any employee. As time goes by I feel absolutely sure that certain individuals kept VFP current far longer than expected- compare to other MS products that got shifted into the non-mainstream group and you can see that VFP seemed to live forever. The people who did this have moved in various directions and many of them still keep their light under a bushel. I know some of the Foxgang has already expressed quiet appreciation, but maybe it's good to set our appreciation in stone, or perspex in this case. ;-)
