>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>When I am using VFP9 IDE in Windows 7 and I move (by dragging) the Property window, I see a frame (empty rectangular) popping up and kind of moving along with the property window. When I stop moving the Property window, this “frame” goes away. Anybody has noticed this behavior or it is specific to my PC?
>>
>>No, I'm not seeing that.
>>
>>Normally, I start up VFP9 with just an un-docked Command Window. Suppose I then create a new Form. I then have 3 "windows" open: Command, FormDoc1, and the Property Sheet. None are docked. The Layout toolbar may or may not be docked.
>>
>>I can drag the FormDoc1 and Property Sheet windows around and they behave as expected - the windows' contents are visible while dragging.
>>
>>If I drag the Command Window, its contents do NOT show while dragging; only a thick, grey, slowly-refreshing border gets dragged. This has been discussed before and is a known issue with VFP9 on Win7; if memory serves, it's a side effect of having Aero turned on.
>
>I think what you describe as "slowly-refreshing border" is what I am seeing. Now that I know that it is a "feature" of VFP9 on Win 7<g>, I am no longer concerned. Thank you.

Just to reiterate, I don't see that behaviour with the Property sheet, only the Command Window.

If you search messages here, created by me, with "aero" in the message you should be able to find the original discussion.
