I am trying to know the format of the PDF they sent us. Once I know, I'll be able to know if there is something we can do about it. In the worst scenario, we'll keep it as is with PDF2TXT and will simply loss French characters when they occur. This represents a small percentage of the massive load of PDF. And, it is only in a small number of them, for the French version, that we have problems on some of the items.
