Since a while, I loose network connectivity from one server to another from a network drive created at the Windows Explorer level. So, I changed it to reference it as UNC in my code. But, that did not help as even in Windows Explorer, we can see that the network drive is disappearing after a while. It can run OK for days and sometimes just a few hours. This has started recently and we cannot isolate a specific situation which could be related to that. I am starting to believe that the network cable from the server to the switch might fail. Has anyone seen that kind of behavior before?
