To all: I'll try to do better here.

I have an application written in VFP9 which is designed to access up to 3 different databases on a SQL Server. These three databases contain respectively the primary active data, the deleted records data, and the archived (older) data records.

This application is being developed with SQL Server 2005 on a PC running Win XP SP3. In this case I get no errors so long as I follow an apparently correct protocol in my SQLEXEC() statements.

When I load this application on the customer's system I have the most difficulty when it is necessary to connect to a 2nd or 3rd database. I have no difficulty running with the first primary active database. This customer system is using SQL 2008 R2 with Win Server 2008.

When I ask the program to INSERT or DELETE data in the 2nd or 3rd database I get SQL syntax error 916.

When I am operating the program while logged into the Win 2008 server, I cannot even connect to the 2nd or 3rd database and there I get SQL syntax error 0.

When I log into SSMS on the 2005 or the 2008 SQL servers, as an administrator, I have no difficulty performing all necessary operations with T-SQL sysntax.

I have been told that the problem may be due to incompatibility among ODBC versions relative to VFP. If there are any good references or sources of info you can recommend or if there are any ideas for things to do in such an environment, I would be very appreciative of your help!
