We're currently experimenting with the MS Azure platform which seems to offer a similar feature set to the Amazon offering (but of course only for Windows based systems :-} )

We won't be using it to host a full blown web site - just a few WCF services for data and a Silverlight app. Since some of the application users won't have internet access we're keeping a very clean separation to the data layer so that we can plug in a cloud or local storage based backend. Given that, it would probably be feasible to try out the Amazon offering as well without affecting the main part of the app....

Anyway I'd be interested in hearing how you get on with Amazon......
