Hi,
Check the server event logs for errors, and also any core dumps generated from the server crashes.
I recently had a similar situation recently, it ended up being an incompatible remote backup software installed by the clients ISP, caused all sorts of problems. Everyone was blaming us & VFP until I checked the logs and zeroed in on the problem.
